How it works
The five rules of a Pyre
A Pyre is a pump.fun coin whose creator fees buy, call out and burn that coin, one wallet at a time.
- 1
Launch.
The dev launches a coin on pump.fun from Phantom via the Pyre launch page. Its address ends in PYRE, and its on-chain creator is the pyre's router — a wallet on our server.
- 2
Fees.
pump.fun pays the creator fees: 10% to the dev, 90% to the router. The split is locked on-chain right after launch.
- 3
Router.
Of what the router gets, 80% goes to pyromancers for the coin, 10% to pyromancers for $PYRE, and 10% is sent to the $PYRE dev team. Pyromancers are fresh wallets with addresses ending in PYRE, or an ending of up to 4 characters the dev picks.
- 4
Pyromancers.
Each pyromancer buys the coin and some $PYRE, posts one callout in the coin's pump.fun thread, waits 20 minutes, then burns 98% of both. During those 20 minutes the tokens are locked on-chain and can't be sold.
- 5
No sells.
Pyromancers never sell. Leftover SOL goes back to the router to fund the next pyromancer.
